VentureNet Hosts Local Inc5000 Gathering
Meeting of company execs to focus on strategies
DALLAS, TX – November 4, 2008 – VentureNet, Inc. hosted a gathering of top executives from local companies recently named to the Inc5000 list. Inc5000 is an annual listing of the fastest-growing private companies in America.
The gathering of local company executives was the idea of Jon Klaus, VentureNet president. Klaus believed that each company’s appearance on the Inc5000 list is a testament to excellent leadership and superior business operations. Though the list includes firms from divergent industries, the VentureNet president felt the leadership of these companies could gain insight from one another to help make their companies stronger and their services better.
“Iron sharpens iron,” said Klaus. “These are some of the finest companies in the Metroplex. We can learn a lot from each other – ways to make our companies stronger and our services better.”
The first gathering of these local company executives occurred October 30th at the Westin Galleria Hotel. During the meeting, executives had the opportunity to summarize their firm’s business and strategic directions.
VentureNet’s president wasn’t the only one to see value in this type of gathering. Executives attending unanimously affirmed future regular meetings and asked Klaus to continue coordination of these future events.
