DBJ Names VentureNet Among Largest DFW IT Firms
Company ranks #9, up from #15 in 2002
DALLAS, TX – July 4, 2003 – VentureNet, Inc., based in Dallas, was named by the Dallas Business Journal as the 9th largest company in the Journal’s list of Largest Metroplex Computer Networking System Companies. This ranking is up 6 places from VentureNet’s #15 ranking in the prior year. The list, which was included in the July 4-10, 2003 issue of the Dallas Business Journal, ranks networking companies by number of employees at each company in 2002. The list will also be included in the Journal’s 2004 Book of Lists, which annually features the area’s top companies in various categories of growth and achievement.
“We actually did not grow too much over the period,” said Jon Klaus, VentureNet’s president. “The realities in the market over the past couple of years have been very difficult for many of our clients and competitors.
